SCROLL DOWN

KARUNA

The purpose of my work is to connect my clients to their inner warrior. To tap into the power and visceral experience of what it means to change your mind...when you change your mind you change your habits. When you change your habits into rituals you begin to change your body’s expression of health and experience of gratitude and joy. This moment is when true thriving can emerge.

I am an alchemist, nutrition guide, posture sculptor, yogi, compassionate rebel and earth lover.

I believe we are at a place in our individual and collective evolution where we have the vision to be able to SEE clearly how the traumas we’ve experienced in our lives have taken agency over our capacity to know our own divinity, our own innocence and raw power. We are remembering how to fall in love with ourselves. This is important because our capacity to hold love and honor for ourselves is in direct relationship with our capacity to hold it for all others and our ultimate mama…planet earth. Our world needs us to take the leap and is calling for more compassion, more intention, and understanding…so if you are reading this sentence then chances are high that you are hearing the call to begin your own quantum leap with karuna compassion.

Living health and loving fully from the inside out.

“Kari (Karuna) teaches and works with clients in a multidisciplinary dance with the body by merging her vast physical/ anatomical knowledge with intuitive energy medicine and spiritual alchemy that is not lacking in love.  She has a profoundly unique ability to create an atmosphere of grace, healing and unconditional acceptance of the authentic self, allowing for transformative experiences on the table.   Her ability to process the information that arises in her work has often times led me to access insight and deeper truth that was integral in affecting positive change in my life that I had been unable to access on my own. “

MY HUMBLE BEGINNING

I am an empath that grew up on the move in Colorado with a family that required the skills of adaptability, flexibility and…above all, compassion for others. My role as the bridge builder and peace keeper in the family came intuitively and I learned fully the art of feeling into other’s experience, seeing what was needed and adapting accordingly. All beautiful gifts, but the lesson that I was missing was how to hold my own authority, boundaries and needs with as much reverence as I held all others. My birth name is Kari and I find it fitting that my tendency growing up was to 'carry' around on my shoulders the responsibility for other's happiness with out even a single thought of my own. Giving from an empty cup is what I had learned to be good and expected. My  journey to embodying the name Karuna has required diving deeply into myself, being willing to put down the burdens that do not belong to me and devote myself to building my own foundation of health and love so that I can be of service to the world from a FULL and joyful cup. Following the wisdom of karuna compassion has proven to be not only the path to my deepest heart work, but also pivotal in my own evolution.

If you want to heal your body on the physiological plane you must consider your whole being. Western medicine is genius, but it often bypasses the truth that our emotions and thoughts contribute directly to our cellular expression of health.
